Lived in Salisbury 1971, Bulawayo 1972 and early 1973 then in Gatooma for rest of 1973.
Served with the BSAP at Mzilikazi, Donnington and Gatooma Rural.

Born in 1953 and raised in Salisbury.
Lived in the suburb of Prospect. Attended Churchill Boys High School in the late 60s.
Furthered my schooling in early 1970 at Commercial Careers College, downtown Salisbury.
Worked for both the PTC and Philips Telecommunications throughout early part of the 70s.
Immigrated to South Africa in 1976.
Lived and worked in Johannesburg until immigrating to Canada in 1982.
From there onward resided in a suburb of Toronto, Ontario.
Have travelled extensively throughout the United States and Canada.
Retired in the mid-90s.

Royal Bank of Canada since arriving here.

Schooled at Alfred Beit and Ellis Robins. Served in the Air Force until 1982.
Moved to RSA, worked for Siemens, married, then 'transferred' to Mississauga, Canada in 1996.

Born (Mater Dei) and schooled (Henry Low and Hamilton) in Bulawayo.
Short stints in Salisbury (BSAP Morris Depot) and Wankie (BSAP) before returning to Byo (BSAP Western Commonage).
Lived in King William's Town, South Africa (81-97) and worked for daGama Textiles (King and EL Plants).
Emigrated to British Columbia in 97, and have lived in Port Coquitlam and Port Moody.
Work at the Vancouver Art Gallery.

Born in 1951 left Salisbury in 69 to S.A.
I went to Admiral Tait Jr in Salisbury and then on to Roosevelt.
My Dad was the head master of Admiral Tait.
Now live in Dundas, Ontario.

I left in 1978 and lived in London for 32 years.
I moved with my family to Southern Ontario, Canada in July 2010.

We met working at Rhodesia Railways and married in 1965.
Immigrated to Canada in 1981.
I worked in computer training industry for 15 years and now have a home based business
teaching the new science of "glycomics" and helping people
improve their health with safe glyconutritionals.

My folks were farmers in the Lonely Mine district and I was in boarding school at Coghlan,
Northlea and Townsend in Bulawayo.
Finished my schooling at Capricorn in Pietersburg in 1980.
I married a Canadian, Dave, and we have 5 children altogether (his 3 and my 2).
I worked in the IT industry for many years and now my husband and I run our own IT and
engineering staffing company in Calgary.
Canada is wonderful and we are very happy, but I do miss the way things used to be in
Rhodesia, war-and-all!

Hallo there my fellow countrymen.
I am an ex Rhodesian/Zimbabwean.
I was born in 1965 in Bulawayo Mpilo Hospital and I now live in Vancouver,Canada.
I left Zimbabwe in December 2005 after I was severely tortured,my genitals mutilated and left for dead by Mugabe"s CIO.
I crossed the border into South Africa on foot and lived in Johannesburg for 4 years as a refugee.
I came to Canada in may 2008 under the United High Commission for Refugees Resettlement Programme.
I miss my family and friends as I am here by myself.
I will be a citizen in Canada after my 3rd year as a permanent resident.
I would like to get into contact with people who also lived in Bulawayo and who now live in British Columbia Canada.

Born Salisbury 1957. Attended Widdecombe Jr, and Cranborne Sr. Left in 1975, but returned in '88-'90. lived in the Vancouver area for 7 years and now in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Miss the old Elgin Rd. mates.
Swan Ken
Ex Northern Rhodesia Police, and ex Life Insurance in Lusaka.
Went to England in 1964 for 2 weeks vacation....Never went back.
Ended up in Vancouver, in Canada, and had a great career with Sun Life Ins. Co.
Last position was in Toronto, as Manager for Canada for Group Insurance for small business'.
Now sort of retired, in White Rock (a small place 25 ish miles south of Vancouver, right near US border).
Now spend time watercolour painting; practicing (not enough) on my guitar and auditioning for parts in
movies and tv commercials (thankfully I never had to make a living in that business....but it is fun).
Managed to do 11 commercials so far....nice pocket money.
I actually don't need the money as I invested so wisely I have enough income to live
like a King for the rest of my life...providing I only live about 7 weeks!

Moved to Canada in 1977 and first lived in Ontario.
Now reside in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in Kelowna, BC.
