Lived in Harare, Banket, Gweru, Chipinge, Mutare, farmed at Hunters Road in the Midlands.
Banket School 1972 to 1974.
Selukwe School 1975 to 1977.
Chaplin School 1978to 1982.

Brown Gordon and Cherie (nee Barton)
Cherie - grew up in Karoi, went to Karoi Junior School 1971 - 1975.
Attended Marlborough High School 1976 - 1980.
Happily married with two daughters NAIRNE 2000 and BAILLE born 2003.
Gordon - moved from Scotland to work in Zimbabwe in 1991 and stayed for 12 years!
We left Zimbabwe 2001.
Lived in NZ for 4 1/2 years, Brisbane, Australia for almost a year and now Singapore.

Left Zim in 89 and have worked around the globe in the Oil & Gas industry.
Keen sailor having bought a small yacht and sailed the
Indian and Gulf , living aboard for 6 years.
Now settled in Singapore - re married and returned to being a landlubber once again.

Left Rhodesia late 68 for unknown destiny.
Ended up in the Oilfield and still there.
Lived/worked in many parts of the world bumping into ex Rhodies everywhere.
Home has been in Perth WA since 1982.
Married twice with 2 adult kids from first marriage (and now have 3 Granddaughters)
Presently working in Vietnam.
Now residing in Singapore.
