a wonderful daughter-in-law [22], and an awesome 4-month old grandson from my eldest [son] residing with me.
I could retire in 2014; but, don't believe I will do so to insure that my daughter is able to afford her studies in a
higher learning institution after she graduates from High School in 2012.
I attended Churchill Boys High School for two years [1968-1969] before transferring to a parochial boarding school near Gwelo.
I remember the gray khaki shorts & shirts, the purple blazers & ball caps, the gray & purple striped neck ties and bands
around the straw-brimmed hats, the elastic garters we had to wear to keep our socks up at all times -- and I remember having
to go pick a supple, green branch from a Mulberry tree to give to my teacher so he could give me
'six with a stick' for not correctly doing my home work.
I was on the soccer team and have a picture someplace around here with all of my teammates, the coach, and I
posing for the Team picture.
Many fond memories of the area, the weather, the mountains, the plains, and our home at 9 Drummond Road
at the corner of Alfred Road and near Chaplin Road out in Greendale...so many years ago.

Hi Georgina. I viewed you wonderful website and am glad to introduce myself to you.
My name is Paul Mroz. My surname is a Polish name meaning Frost which strangely was my mother's maiden name.
My Grandfather, James Frost , was a Rhodesian pioneer.
He made his home in Bulawayo and opened a petrol station and sweet shop on Grey Street in Bulawayo.
I was born in Bulawayo to the daughter of a Rhodesian pioneer and an American chap whose parents came into America through Ellis Island from Poland.
In 1973 my family moved to the United States and being born in Rhodesian I refused and still do,
to let go of my Rhodesian heritage.
Having been in America all these years, I still treasure my Rhodesian heritage
and have tried to maintain my Rhodesian ways.
I married an American girl and have two sons of 21 and 19 years of age.
Thankfully up until now , both of my sons are what Rhodesia would be proud of , drug free ,
short haired , God fearing boys.
I was so very priveledged this year to DJ the Rhodesian Association
(Western United States) 2003 Reunion.
It always warms my heart to communicate with fellow Rhodesians and I wish you the very best Georgina.
